What Are the Current Regulations for Non-Immigrant O Visa Holders in Thailand During Travel Bans?

Hi, I’m in Kata in Phuket. We’ve had a very strict no district travel ban for 5-6 days already. I am on a Non Imm O visa (by way of wife, daughter not mentioned) which was issued in Hong Kong in November. I fly there once or twice a month for work so just get this 90 day visa and then extend it. I extended for 60 days in Nakhon Si Thammarat and it expires on 18th April. Last month I was told I couldn’t convert to 1 year as not enough time to show 400,000THB for 60 days. Our daughter is 5 months old so when 14 days quarantine in HK plus 3 days for visa application plus 14 days quarantine in Thailand on return I decided to wait it out. But now not sure where I fall in the auto exemption. Can try and drive to Phuket Town immigration tomorrow.

Any guidance very much appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user in Kata, Phuket, is seeking guidance regarding their Non Immigrant O visa during a strict travel ban. They extended their visa after obtaining a 90-day stamp in Hong Kong, but are uncertain about their eligibility for automatic exemptions given their situation, especially with a young child. They plan to visit Phuket Town immigration for more assistance.

What about those "mobile offices" Phuket Immigration said they set up ? Can you get to one of those?

so you're on a Non-O and got a 90 day stamp THEN you extended it by 60 days based on visiting family and that expires on the 18th of April, right?

That means you should be covered under the blanket amnesty until the 30th

yes that it correct. Thank you. Will probably see if I can get out to Phuket Town Immigration tomorrow but not sure.

You need the 400K baht in a thai bank account in your name in your name only for 2 months before you apply for the extension based on marriage.

I don't know what your question actually is,

sorry if not clear - “not sure if I fall into auto exemption” meaning am I ok to the 30th? There is no further extension I know of for that visa type.
