As a fit & heathy 55yr old, i will potentially be coming to thailand on a Non-0 or LTR Retirment Visa, my initial research suggests a good comprehensive health insurance policy can be as much as THB 10-20k pm. Is this correct?
Also can anyone recommend any good policies and/or broker, i'm looking for a comprehensive policy with no nasty exclusions, would prefer higher limits and the best coverage
i have not ruled out Thai Insurers, but would prefer the most extensive types of policy
thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the costs and recommendations for comprehensive health insurance for a 55-year-old coming to Thailand on a Non-O or Long-Term Retirement Visa. Users mention that a good policy can be between THB 10-20k per month, with alternative suggestions for annual premiums around THB 60-70k. Recommendations include contacting specific brokers like AA Insurance and Robert Jackson, as well as considerations for self-insurance and catastrophic policies. Several contributors advise caution about rising rates over time.
