hello, does anyone have experience applying as a dual citizen?

I hold an Australian and a British passport.

I plan to apply using my Australian passport. My first three months of bank account statements are from a UK bank account, paid from an Australian company.

Prior to that I was working for a British company.

Has anyone had any issues to do with dual citizenship? or anything to be aware of.

I intend to apply in Vietnam

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses applying for a visa as a dual citizen of Australia and the UK, specifically using the Australian passport while having bank statements from the UK. Responses indicate that applying as a dual citizen is generally acceptable, as long as applicants do not misrepresent their citizenship status on the application. Users shared experiences confirming that there are typically no issues with dual citizenship in the visa application process in Vietnam.

I applied as a dual citizen. Just add your other citizenship on the application. No issues at all

No problem, it only means that you will have to pay double

Only joking 😛

Nobody would care. You can only apply on one. It’s irrelevant

No issue, however you shouldn't lie on the application. If I recall well, one of the questions from the online form was whether you have more than one passport / citizenship.

Should be no issue at all. Just enter and leave on the passport you have the DTV issued to.
