TLDR : Answer Summary
Failing to complete the 90-day report can lead to a fine of 2,000 THB when you visit immigration next for any purpose. For yearly visas (work, marriage, business), this is the standard penalty. Although not an automatic check at the airport, an immigration officer may investigate and fine you if they suspect non-compliance. Additionally, any past failures may appear in the system after returning from an overseas trip.

! So it's not an automatic procedure at the airport , however if the officer suspects you haven't done the 90 days reports as prescribed by the immigration of your area, he might want to check and apply a fine. Am I getting it correctly?
Thanks a lot! "in some cases" as in "it depends on the immigration officer"? And to sum up my understanding, 90 days reporting is crucial while in Thailand and less when leaving Thailand. Corect(ish)?
