Hello! 90 days report question. What happens if you fail to do 90 days report in case of :

1. Yearly visa (work, marriage, business)

2. Covid19 extensions, as it seems this is becoming a requirement in some areas

Loads of people are puzzled by the consequences of non-reporting. Yes, many of them have out of the box, last October quick fix student of whatever keep me here visas.

Lastly, is the failure to report shows up at that immigration counter you pass at the airport?

Asking for puzzled people who'd greatly appreciate your kind advice ๐Ÿ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
Failing to complete the 90-day report can lead to a fine of 2,000 THB when you visit immigration next for any purpose. For yearly visas (work, marriage, business), this is the standard penalty. Although not an automatic check at the airport, an immigration officer may investigate and fine you if they suspect non-compliance. Additionally, any past failures may appear in the system after returning from an overseas trip.

Thank you

! So it's not an automatic procedure at the airport , however if the officer suspects you haven't done the 90 days reports as prescribed by the immigration of your area, he might want to check and apply a fine. Am I getting it correctly?

Thanks a lot! "in some cases" as in "it depends on the immigration officer"? And to sum up my understanding, 90 days reporting is crucial while in Thailand and less when leaving Thailand. Corect(ish)?

He'll check through your passport. AND, if you return to Thailand, and do something at the immigration office, you may get fined then

The next time you go to immigration for any purpose, you would be fined 2K THB.

>Lastly, is the failure to report shows up at that immigration counter you pass at the airport?

No it does not. However, in some cases, if the immigration office finds an old 90 day report in your passport, they may try to fine you.

It may come up in the system after you return from your overseas trip, and you may be fined then.
