I don't have to ask because you make a mistake. You think different ways of application lead to different type of visa. But for the DTV it isn't the case.
The text in the Royal Gazette say it clearly in Article 2:
"The following foreign nationals may apply for special permission to enter and reside in the Kingdom for tourism and remote work purposes under this announcement." And then paragraph (1) is naming the ways of applicants.
"Foreigners who wish to reside in Thailand for tourism and remote work include foreigners who wish to travel to Thailand for long-term tourism, foreigners who wish to travel to Thailand for remote work, such as highly skilled groups, self-employed groups, remote work groups, or foreigners who wish to reside in Thailand for other activities such as learning Muay Thai and martial arts, learning to cook, learning and practicing sports, medical treatment, training, seminars, art and music performances."
And then Article 3
"Foreign nationals wishing to request special permission to reside in the Kingdom of Thailand under this announcement shall apply for a special tourist visa (Destination Thailand Visa: DTV). Applications can be submitted to any Thai embassy or consulate general abroad. The visa is valid for an unlimited number of times and is valid for five years."
There is just one type of visa for all applicants mentioned under Article 2 (1).
