Would someone please be able to confirm.

Does the 500k THB need to be in my account for 6months?

Or can I give them 6 months balance with the closing balance totalling 500k? If I transfer (top up my account to 500k) can it be freshly there?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for maintaining a balance of 500,000 THB in your account for six months may vary based on the country you are applying from. Some users indicated that it might be possible to show a balance of 500,000 THB either through historical balances or recent deposits, as one individual shared their experience of providing a savings book to meet the requirement after insufficient funds were shown in their bank statement.

In Vietnam I submitted a 6-month bank statement, but my final balance was not enough 500,000 baht, I submitted another savings book with 500,000 baht. So I think you can deposit 500,000 into the account.

let me ask you a question. If you have applied in Hanoi, how many days you have to wait to get approved after submitting?

One of my friends applied in Myanmar and topped up to reach Baht 500K just before submission. She was successful to obtain DTV.
