Hi all. Has anyone applied in Taipei with just showing current balance of 500k, or they require 1-2-3 actual statements?

In general how was the experience?

Tnx

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Taipei, it is generally sufficient to show a current balance of 500,000 THB for visa applications. Previous applicants have reported success with this approach, and the embassy has confirmed via email that full bank statements are not necessary. The embassy is considered one of the more accommodating options for visa applications.

Laos needs 3 months worth of 500K parked there. They told me this.

Jakarta and Yangon, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh seem to be OK with funds recently moved to your account. Ho Chi Minh needs 6 months worth of statements, that's all.

i understand. What about if employed as freelancer by the company?

Are the portfolio and contracts required as well if you know, or Only the letter from the company with the stamp?

i guess so. Is there any feedback how strict are they regarding the documentation about the freelance work provided?

Like do they need company registration letter or some other official documents, or portfolio would be enough?

Company registration letter not essential, but good to have. They don't provide a template of what documents to provide. I think it's best to submit as many documents as possible.

As long as you provide the paperwork to support your application they are ok. If you freelancing, they need contracts etc. Some posts detail what they provided. The embassy told me If they need more paperwork then approval can be delayed by 3 more days. Best to prepare as much as possible
