TLDR : Answer Summary
To send around 37,000 baht to a USA bank account at a low cost, several options were discussed. Popular services mentioned include DeeMoney, which has a first-time user fee of 125 baht but the cost can vary based on exchange rates. Western Union is also noted as a viable option, with reports of a flat rate around 99 baht for transfers. TransferWise (now called Wise) is frequently mentioned but clarified that it may not work for transfers out of Thailand. Other suggestions included using a bank's integrated Western Union service, cryptocurrency exchanges, and platforms like Skrill. It’s crucial to compare the exchange rates and fees among these services to ensure the best deal.

No wise don't do out of Thailand... They only do inbound. Normal banks or DeeMoney do outbound or if you know of another please add below.

If it’s your first time sending money via DeeMoney, there’s a flat rate of 125baht total.

I'm sorry you don't understand. The exchange rate is like...if I have 1USD if someone gives me an exchange rate of 30 then I have 30bhat.

Now deemoney if I transfer 150,000bhat I get 4,444.44 + their125fee so they are giving you an exchange rate of .0296..where as the current mid market rate is .03 which would be $5,000 so, Dee money charges you 125,bhat and makes and additional $566.66 by giving you a lesser exhange rate.

Cheapest way is to buy crypto at Bitkrub, send to US exchange and sell it for USD. Wise are thiefs and deemoney is very expensive. Also, Thai WU online (only) is also very cheap, 100thb regardless the amount and exchange rate is same has Thai bank.

wise for some reason only works one way for thai baht. You can transfer and convert into thai baht, but cannot transfer thai baht into the account and convert it to any other currency.

Haven't used deemoney so not sure how their rates compare. I use Wise about $9 to transfer 37K but they give really good conversion rates. Money right into Thai bank account, often w/in a minute.

the question I r

Think was the other way and as far as i can remember wise don't have a service out of Thailand I tried a few months ago to send. Easy to bring in hard to send out. Because such a small amount a swap with a friend got to be the easiest way to do it.

Western Union can. My bank Krungsri has western union integrated into the website app, you can use to transfer money out of Thailand with. I just noticed it last week, haven't tired it yet though.
