Hey guys, do you have any experience sending money FROM Thailand with either bank transfer or Skrill?

Aside from Deemoney, I heard that It’s a challenge to send money from Thailand as a foreigner since banks may noy allow it. And there’s limited amount of money that you can transfer abroad (eg. not exceed your Thai salary)

Also, some said that it’s possible to send money via Skrill. But you need to pay via a visa card instead.

Do you guys have any experience with it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Sending money from Thailand as a foreigner can be challenging but possible. Users report that Thai banks allow international transfers if you have a local bank account, typically involving a transfer fee (around 300 Baht). Services like Deemoney and cryptocurrency (USDT) are highlighted as cost-effective solutions. Some suggest using traditional services like WISE or Western Union, and many users share successful experiences transferring funds with various Thai banks like K Bank, Bangkok Bank, and Krungsri. However, there's caution against using Skrill due to higher fees and complex rules.

It's got nothing to do with being a foreigner because Thais face the same restrictions when sending money abroad. It's not as crazy as Vietnam, where it's almost impossible for anyone to send money abroad but Thailand isn't Europe or Australia, where anyone can easily transfer money abroad using mobile or internet banking.

I have account Bangkok bank and Krungsri - no problem with international bank transfers from their app - I have also used DeeMoney - very very easy

Stay away from Skrill. They are expensive to use, and have some pretty strange rules.

You can send using K bank app or whatever Thai bank you have never heard of Skrill, and you don’t want to send any money that can’t be explained

I have used WISE and Western Union, no problems

ONE exception ! That is when you have a Thai Mastercard (Or sometimes I read, with a Thai debit card if it's activated for online shoping. Myself I never got it working with my debit cards). Thai credit/master card works ofcourse because it's international.

Deemoney is the lowest cost if you want to use a company.

The other much lower cost and fastest is using USDT

if you understand how crypto coins work.

Once you get set up the crypto way you will never use a money remittance service again.

Thai Banks do allow it. If you have a Thai bank account. Just go on the app and select international transfer. Easy. 300 Baht transfer fee
