, just so you know, that consulate is BUSY every day, but the worst days to go there are Monday and Thursday because those are the days that the visa run companies are there with their customers.

you turn in your paperwork from about 9 am until about 11 and then you go back the next day in the afternoon around 1:30 and get your passport back with the visa in it.
