Hi there, I'm the classic farang story of, "Been here for 8 months and want to stay another 2". That said. I have one more border bounce I can use. I am in Koh Phangan in which the Malay borders are used. Do you have a border to recommend for safe entry? Would love to get some feedback.
Thanks!
Jim

TLDR : Answer Summary

They currently reside in Koh Phangan and have one more border bounce available. Comments suggest using the Ranong border for convenience and caution regarding previous tourist visas. Another suggestion is accessing a 6-month METV from the Thai consulate in Perth for a more extended stay.

Just go to Perth Australia to the Thai consulate and get a 6 month METV which you can get 9 months out of it....all you have to do is meet the requirements for the visa....
