Sorry if this has been asked before but couldn’t find it in the search….

I’m applying to STV (entering through Phuket Sandbox) and I’m confused by “Documents and payment in regards to accommodation (after 14 days in ASQ)” and “Proof of accommodation booking confirmation, covering the entire stay for 90 days”….. Am I really supposed to have accommodation booked after 7 days in Phuket fto cover my entire stay in Thailand?! 🤔

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the Special Tourist Visa (STV) in Thailand through the Phuket Sandbox, you are required to provide proof of accommodation that covers your entire stay, which is typically 90 days. This includes a documents and payment confirmation for accommodations you will stay in after the initial 14 days of Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ). However, it's possible to book accommodation that is fully refundable or cancellable, allowing for flexibility in your plans.

Yes one of the requirements of the STV is fully paid up accommodation. Technically nothing to stop you booking something that you can later cancel.
