Hello 😊

I want to apply for DTV in the next days via e-visa in Germany Berlin consulate, since i am German and this is the consulate i have to use.

I am a Freelancer with own company, so i want to try the DTV for digital nomads.

Has anyone experience with special requirements from Berlin consulate?

I have read, that some consulats want to see financial proof for 6-month.

I own multiple bank accounts and need to send my funds into one account to meet the required 500.000 baht. So i can not show one Bank Statement for the last 6 month with the required funds. Could this be a problem?

All experience and helpful tips are very appreciated, especially from freelancers and Company owners πŸ™πŸ»

Thank you very much and greetings from Germany 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
A German freelancer is inquiring about the application process for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) at the embassy in Berlin. They are unsure about financial requirements, specifically regarding needing to show funds in a single bank account for the visa application. A comment clarifies that only one recent month of bank statements is required, not six months, and suggests pooling funds into one account before applying.

Berlin has an Embassy, not a consulate. Where you apply depends on your residence in Germany. You don’t need six months of bank statements, one month (the most recent one) is enough. Pool the cash in one account and then wait for the statement to close.
