Looking to apply via soft power Muay Thai (no income but have the proof of funds needed) - I'm going back to the UK from Bangkok for 3 weeks as it's my home country, so might aswell apply for the DTV from there, as I've only seen good things about applying with the London embassy on this group.
Does anyone have any tips on what to include apart from the standard proof of 500k, UK address, recent photo, muay Thai course registration and proof? Do they ask for any more than this as extra docs? Anyone had a tough time getting it from the UK?
(Arrived in BKK at the end of Dec and used 1 visa exemption and just extended it a few weeks ago)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user intends to apply for a Muay Thai visa from the UK and is seeking advice on additional required documents beyond the standard proof of funds (500k), UK address, recent photo, and course registration. Comments from other users suggest that the London embassy may request additional items like a flight ticket, proof of consistent transactions in a bank account, and emphasize the importance of registering with a recognized gym for proper documentation.
With the bank account ....they questioned my card transaction ....asking where are my card transaction for everyday use .. i said i used cash ..with 20,000 to 40,000 b withdraw 1 or 2 times a month ...plus also stated i thansfer into my partners account and use her card for withdrawing cash to use ...was the only question
Fight EVO360 Thailand - Thepprasit Boxing Stadium is gym in pattaya with all the proper paperwork and knowledge of the visa, make sure you get a gym like this to make everything easy - not all of them are as prepared.
ah yes I saw everywhere that you don't need to be employed for soft power activities, but then also saw people posting that they've been asked for proof of income even through the soft power route
