Hello,

Has anyone applied for DTV with sponsorship letter from employer?

My company is ready to give me bank statements and sponsorship letter so I would like to get in touch with someone who already did it and got approved.

Please reach out if you applied this way.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks advice on applying for a DTV visa in Thailand with a sponsorship letter from an employer. There are mixed comments; some suggest that sponsorship letters are typically accepted only from spouses or direct relatives, while others believe it could be possible, especially if no formal restrictions are stated. Additional information indicates that bank statements must belong to the applicant.

It’s not said anywhere officially that they only accept sponsorship letter from spouse. If you didn’t try or don’t know anyone who tried and got denied that why spread information that are just guesses?

I believe not many people do it because company wouldn’t normally give you their bank statements but I don’t believe it never works if they does.

It’s unlikely that an Embassy will accept a sponsorship letter from anyone other than a spouse or direct relative. Some will simply not accept sponsorship letters for anything other than a dependant DTV.

If you're applying as the main holder, I don't think it would work. If you're applying for a DTV spouse visa, you should definitely work with a sponsorship letter from the main DTV holder.
