Gday, I'm hoping to get some confirmation of what my obligations are regarding TM30. My situation is as follows : I rent a condo in Pattaya and have done since Nov 2017 while on a METV. When I first moved in my real estate agent went to immigration and did a TM30 for me not realising that it wasnt needed on a METV. The owner of the condo is in Australia. Fast forward to now and I have a Non O A visa and the TM30 stapled in my passport.
I was under the assumption that the building management were responsible for reporting your arrival to immigration however they have a sign up at reception stating that they will not do this and it is the tenants responsibilty. Is this correct ?
I was also told by another person that since my address hasn't changed and I have the original TM30 in my passport then there is no requirement for me to report each time I arrive. Is this also correct ?
Can anyone shed any light on these 2 enquiries and steer me in the right direction.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on their obligations regarding TM30 reporting in Thailand, specifically as a holder of a Non O A visa. They mention their previous experience with a METV, the role of building management in reporting arrivals, and whether they need to report their presence since their address hasn't changed and they have the original TM30 in their passport.
