What are my best options for obtaining a Thai visa without proof of funds?
Hi cute people!
I have been looking for the right kind of visa to request and the EDTV (soft skills) seems like the most reliable for my case.
I am now on exemption (italian citizen) and I was planning to get out of Thailand and come back in a month but the only thing is I don't have proof of the 90 consecutive days of the required founds in my bank account.
I read that another option is a sponsorship letter which i could get more easily and in time (for reference my partner has a thai working permit, we are not married).
What do you think i should do and what are my best options for being approved?

I would not mention your boyfriend and with soft power getting tougher not sure a sponsorship letter would do but give it a go and let us know and it’s a DTV

The best option is to transfer 500k to your bank account, keep it there for 3 months and then apply for the visa. I never heard about EDTV visa, I think you mean “DTV”

Since your "partner" isn't a direct family member, that option is off the table. The other thing you can do is apply in a country where there is little to no seasoning. Other than that chill for a few months and then apply.
