Hi everyone. My application, sent in Paris, is pending documents checked but I have my flight leaving soon. Does anyone know what happens if it gets approved after I depart to Thailand? 

Also, to those who applied to the Paris embassy, do they request an interview?

You can email the embassy with your flights details and ask gently of course. But the process in Paris is about 3 to 4 weeks... I hope you'll get it before!

I got it in like 3 weeks, was approved straight away, no others documents asked but I guess it’s also case by case! Good luck :)

Contact the embassy via email. Don’t be afraid to explain the situation. This happened to me my DTV got approved while i was already in transit to Thailand.

You aren't supposed to leave the country of application for Thailand before approval. You risk being denied for that reason.
