UPDATE

Workation DTV Visa

✨ APPROVED ✨

Stockholm, Sweden

(17 working days)

I sent an email to the Royal Thai Embassy Stockholm on February 12th to follow up on the application. We saw the approval email on the morning of the 13th but it actually came through later that same evening on February 12th, just a few hours after we emailed them.

Thank you guys, and I hope everyone else gets good news soon too ❤️🙏🏼

———————

Hi everyone, my friend applied for the Workation DTV visa (Stockholm, Sweden) on January 20th and the status has been stuck on “processing pending documents check (1)” since then. Is this normal?

He visited Thailand once before for 33 days from November 20th to December 23th last year. All his documents and financials are solid, everything is legit and fully meets the rules, regulations and requirements.

Has anyone applied from Sweden recently and had a similar experience? Would emailing the embassy help? His outbound flight is on February 28th, so he’s starting to get a bit nervous.

Thank You for your helpful report 👍

Congratulations 👏👏👏

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

I applied through Sweden for work also, but it was 4 Feb and have been stuck since that date. Not that long, but I get worried since you waited a lot more

It is not unusual as approvals can take 15 business days. You can email the embassy for an update.
