I sent an email to the Royal Thai Embassy Stockholm on February 12th to follow up on the application. We saw the approval email on the morning of the 13th but it actually came through later that same evening on February 12th, just a few hours after we emailed them.
Thank you guys, and I hope everyone else gets good news soon too ❤️🙏🏼

Hi everyone, my friend applied for the Workation DTV visa (Stockholm, Sweden) on January 20th and the status has been stuck on “processing pending documents check (1)” since then. Is this normal?
He visited Thailand once before for 33 days from November 20th to December 23th last year. All his documents and financials are solid, everything is legit and fully meets the rules, regulations and requirements.
Has anyone applied from Sweden recently and had a similar experience? Would emailing the embassy help? His outbound flight is on February 28th, so he’s starting to get a bit nervous.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post provides a status update on the Workation DTV Visa application process from Sweden. It highlights an individual's recent approval and feedback regarding the processing time for others who applied. Comments suggest that waiting for approval can be common, with varying timelines reported by different applicants from Sweden. Tips on how to handle inquiries with the embassy and expectations upon arrival in Thailand are also included.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
thank you for tips, I’ll make sure we’re stamped in for 180days 🙏🏼😊 We’re so happy and relieved it finally came through, and we do have it printed out and laminated!
I applied through Sweden for work also, but it was 4 Feb and have been stuck since that date. Not that long, but I get worried since you waited a lot more
