What should I prepare when applying for a DTV Workation at the London Embassy?
Hello! I will soon apply for my DTV at the London Embassy - would be great if anyone could share their previous experience, anything to look out for or that they might ask so that I make sure I provide it all in the first place! My application through London went through pretty smoothly. I provided a really compressed PDF with over 50 pages of information on my business and company. They still requested three more documents which were actually already included in the original PDF but I guess just for their system and to tick off a box they want them separately.
They asked for:
- a letter confirming I will not be doing any business within the time market
- another letter to confirm that I understand that this isn't a marriage visa, it is a DTV visa
That's because I am actually married to a Thai and they asked for further confirmation on my UK residency, which I provided in bank statements and the UK driver's license. Once I submitted the additional documents, the visa was approved within 48 hours. In total it took about three weeks.
