I arrive in BKK next week on a single entry O spouse visa from the UK. I will stay 2 nights in BKK before travelling to my wifes house in Chiang Mai normally I go direct but she will be busy working.

On the Plane arrival card do I put the hotel details of where I will be staying or my normal home address in Chiang Mai, normally the first day or the next day on arrival I visit Chiang Mai immigration and report with TM30, but if I do this they may think I have wasted 2 days before reporting when its meant to be done within 24hours or maybe I should show sales invoice from hotel? - thanks in advance/

TLDR : Answer Summary
When arriving in Bangkok on a single entry O spouse visa, you should provide the address of the hotel where you will be staying on the arrival card. The immigration authorities in Chiang Mai should not question the two-day gap in your travel as long as you follow the TM30 reporting requirements within the specified timeframe.

Ah yes ...the world's quietest mall 😁thanks so much

Remember that TM30 reporting up in Chiang Mai has been moved back to the Promenada Mall (the old location where they used to be..

Yes I was more concerned of when I self report for TM30 they will look at the arrival stamp and think I have not reported within 24hrs of arrival

24 hours from getting to your primary address, not necessarily from entering the country.

they won't check at all. If you're staying at a hotel, ask them to print out a copy of the TM30 they submitted electrically.

For the TM30, the law is clear, the person who possesses the property must report you no later than 24 hours after you arrive overnight. This requirement include submitting a copy of the owners bluebook.

The arrival card is not related to the TM 30 and the database is not connected

I see so on arrival in CM they wont question where I have been the 2 missing days in BKK? (as they can see arrival stamp)

I see as the arrival stamp is BKK.. I suppose if it was a CNX arrival stamp they may query where I've been?
