If an American owns a condo in Hua Hin, in what way does this affect his visa status and the 24 hour reporting for leaving home overnight?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Owning a condo in Hua Hin does not affect an American's visa status. Regardless of ownership, the individual is required to comply with TM30 reporting, filing this within 24 hours of arrival at a new location. The responsibility for filing lies with the condo owner, even if there are tenants involved.

no special deals for Americans, no special deals for condo owners. Sorry, but you have to do like all the other people who like to visit Thailand.

To expand on my question, my understanding is the final responsibility is for the owner to report. Since the condo owner is a tenant in common I still question who has the final responsibility Thank you for your answers
Robert *******
Final responsibility is with the land owner or house owner or house master or land lord or the possessor of the house (Immigration translate the tenant as possessor) but the person who is standing in front the Immigration desk asking for documents or stamps and there is no address registration done can wait until one of the former named persons show up to pay the fine or pay the fine and get what he need from immigration.

You are the one who is responsible, because you own the condo itself, right? I suppose you can try to argue otherwise, but immigration recognizes only the owner of the condo itself, and not the condo building.

You still must file TM30. But check with local immigration office for their requirements.

Or... After reading your question again, none. You don't report when you leave, only when you arrive at a location
Benjamin ******
None. Still has to file a TM30 no later than 24 hours of arrival

My instinct is to say "in no way".
