Hello to those who applied in the UK, any red flags in my application? I am unsure whether I need to prove my relationship to the address stated on my documents (utility), as I don't currently live at that address

Role: works freelance for a single client. Client is in Germany.

Situation: UK native, hasn't lived in the UK for 1+ year. No clear residency for that period of time (mainly travelling on tourist visas) Currently renting short-term in the UK. No rental contract but can have it made up.

Enclosed items

* Passport

* Passport style photos

Supporting documents

* Financial evidence of āļŋ500,000

* Proof of income since January 1 2025 (Wise bank statement)

* Contract of freelance work (supplied by client, digital signature)

* Letter from client confirming remote status (supplied by client, digital signature)

* 6 months client invoices

* Shareholder certificate

* LinkedIn profile

Needed?

* Proof of current location: Immigration stamp in?

* Proof of address (rental agreement)?

Bonus question: can anyone say for sure that I can enter Thailand on a DTV approved more than 90 days prior to entry? Is there a time limit to entering?

TIA!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a UK native currently freelancing for a German client, is concerned about potential red flags in their visa application to Thailand. They have not lived in the UK for over a year and are unsure about proving their relationship to the address on their documents as they do not currently reside there. They question whether they need a rental agreement and what proof of current location would suffice. Additionally, there's a bonus question regarding the time limits for entering Thailand on a DTV visa, with responses indicating there is no time limit and advising on the importance of a rental agreement and other financial evidence.

Proof of UK address , UK tax return, Uk driving license , UK bank account statement showing Uk address, proof you are actually in the UK and will remain there until approval/denial of visa.

I haven't lived at my UK address for a long time (it's a family home, but one I use for all official documents since I move often), will a recent letter from a bank addressed to me do?

Somewhere in your documents you should have that you're okay to be a remote worker and specifically in Thailand and you won't be dealing with any Thai businesses people or entities as clients.

If you're a British Passport holder and you are currently in the UK you wouldn't have been stamped in. You can take a picture of your UK drivers license, a hotel confirmation (in the UK) or a utility bill (do you still have a UK bank account?)

Anonymous participant 575 Got it, so the point is that I should prove that I'm physically present here for the duration of the application? This part confuses me a little, do they need proof of address or proof of location?

I pay utilities as a lump sum included in my rent to my roommate / landlord's bank account, I should have mentioned & I have two UK bank accounts 🙂

if you've recently flown back into the UK you could perhaps also upload your flight details (email confirmation or boarding pass) but your most recent bank statement should be fine!

Bonus question: No time limit to entering.

The more, the better, just get a rental agreement if you can.

Not sure about the embassy where you're applying. I've heard Wise statements have been rejected as financial evidence by some embassies. If the cash is sitting in a normal bank, no problem at all.

I'll be applying through the London embassy, my cash holdings are in a UK bank so shouldn't be a problem. Just my incoming EUR is sent to my Wise. Thanks for your reply
