What is the best approach for a Polish citizen applying for a DTV visa in Thailand from the UK or nearby countries?

Hi everyone,

I'm considering applying for the DTV visa and would really appreciate some advice from people who have already gone through the process.

I'm a Polish citizen with a Polish passport, but I've been living permanently in the UK for the last 11 years. I have the required 500,000 THB funds in my bank account and can provide proof of funds.

My main question is: 
what would give me the highest chance of approval?

Would it be better to apply from the UK, where I currently live, or travel to Vietnam (or another nearby country) and apply from there?

I'm also looking at the Muay Thai soft power route, but I'm still researching and trying to understand the best option.

Any recommendations, tips, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is a basic question—I'm completely new to the process and still learning.

There are three different purposes to apply for this DTV with all different requirements, rules and regulations.

You will find lots of conflicting information as most foreigners love to mix rules and regulations to match their day dreams and ignore the official rules.

It is all your personal choice to follow the rules of the Thai Government OR follow the rules of other day dreamers and may find out that personal choices in life have consequences.

You may read on the internet that Thailand denied entry to 30.000 people in the first 5 months of this year, do not contribute into this statistic for the next years.

I'D say from The UK...

you can use the Search function within the Group for Muay Gyms that support the DTV and provide paperwork & also registered with Thai Sports authority etc...

You Just then have to decide where you want to be based BKK,Chaing Mai, The South or islands etc...

To train for length of programme course...
