If I'm applying for a DTV soft power visa in Germany, do I write my notes and application letter etc. in german or better in English?

Also would I google translate it into Thai? Not sure if the translation is good or not as I can't check it.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a DTV soft power visa in Germany, it's generally acceptable to write your application letter and notes in English. Several users have confirmed that English is preferred by various consulates in Germany, including those in Berlin and Frankfurt. While it's possible to use German or Thai, English is widely accepted, and consulate staff typically speak both the local language and English.
