TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai visa from Vietnam, you are required to provide a document indicating your current location. Community members suggest various acceptable documents, including a flight ticket, hotel booking, entry stamp from Vietnam, or even a selfie holding a receipt with your name on it. Some users reported that they submitted their Vietnam entry stamp alone, while others included additional documents such as boarding passes and hotel confirmations, which were not always requested.

I only uploaded my vn entry stamp. Had a hotel booking and boarding pass as back up but they didn't ask for it

I uploaded a pdf file that had my Vietnam entry stamp, photo of my boarding pass, my visa for Vietnam and the hotel confirmation from Agoda. Was not asked for additional documents
