TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on entering Thailand visa-free after an extended stay and prior scrutiny by immigration officers. They have plans to travel and return shortly but are uncertain about their chances of re-entry without a tourist visa. Comments suggest that due to previous issues with immigration, applying for a tourist visa might increase chances of entry, although opinions vary on the necessity and effectiveness of this route.

Passport copies are required before entering the certain airports. The list of the airports will be provided upon request

paying to skip the queues doesn’t eliminate the chance of being asked questions

Not in the case with an agents! when I say 0 questions))) it means 0 questions, and don't forget where are you landing!!! The Kingdom of Thailand- the country of limitless opportunities, which are not possible in your hone country or any other EU countries as well.

Since you were pulled aside, it will only be a matter of time before a denial comes. Because a tourist visa is what it means. Saying that you have a girlfriend will only be an accepted excuse before one unhappy officer decides that you cannot go in.

My suggestion is to try and get a longer term visa as soon as you can.

I think the issue was with the young lady not being able to speak English Mike she said something to me in Thai and then brought me around the back to see her boss.

A TR visa will only slightly increase your chances... With your history this year and being flagged already, you're still likely to be denied (if you can even get the visa) without a proper long-term visa or the use of an agent that can get you through the airport without issue.

Declan, I don't plan on staying here any longer that Jan 4 2025, I will apply for the tourist visa when I get to Dublin but it may not be issued by the time my flight lands in BKK.

100% agree. I had the same situation))) stayed 6 months and was denied to enter Thailand via Suvarnabhumi the 3 d time, as soon I contacted an agent, all questions disappeared immediately 😕!))))) I was so happy to cross the border with 0 questions!)))) as I was informed it's possible to use this way unlimited amount of times !!!!!!
