Apply on the online site listed earlier. You don’t contact the Embassy just submit online. They are usually very quick. Often 3 days or less.

That's because the consulates no longer do any business with foreigners. If they're even open, they cannot offer you any assistance and are only to assist Thai citizens.

All visa matters are now handled through the embassy in London.

If you need to apply for a visa you must use the Thai evisa system and it will be processed by the embassy in London. Foreigners are not allowed in the embassy any longer as all matters are handled digitally.
