Is the special tourist visa still a thing? I came to Thailand on one last year and wondering if I can get another this year..

Answer summary

The special tourist visa (STV) is set to finish soon, and while there may still be a possibility to apply for it, it may not be worth the effort. An alternative option suggested is the SETV, which offers a 60-day stay with the possibility of a 30-day extension.

Maybe SETV is worthier nowadays. 60 days + 30 days extension

The STV finishes next month. You could possibly apply for one but it’s not worth it.
