Can I continue to extend my 60-day visa and do border runs to stay long-term in Chiang Mai?

Hi there. I've got my 60 day single entry visa already. I know that I can extend it for another 30 days for 1900Baht. After that do a border run to Laos, Myanmar, KL or SG. Get another 60 days, and another 30 day extension.

Now my question is, can I keep doing that? Ideally I'd like to stay in Chiang Mai for the foreseeable future.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A holder of a 60-day single entry visa can extend their stay for an additional 30 days for 1900 Baht. After this extension, they can exit to a neighboring country and apply for a new 60-day visa, which can again be extended by another 30 days. However, it is important to check with immigration rules as they can change, and repeated border runs may eventually attract scrutiny, potentially affecting future visa applications or stays.
