Hello TVA and fellows. Can I borrow your brains?? ๐Ÿ™‚

Is there a limit of how many '2 month tourist visas' I can have in a year??? I've had one already from Lao and got the one month extension at BKK immigration... expires on the 18th Sep... Can I get another tourist visa this year from Lao??

P.S..

My passport is full to the brim of different visas...

Non 0.. Non B.. Border crossings etc..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the limits of obtaining multiple 2-month tourist visas within a year in Thailand, particularly after having previously received one and extended it. While no official limit exists on the number of tourist visas a person can obtain, it is noted that the Thai Consulate may flag a passport with too many tourist visas, potentially leading to future applications being denied. Additionally, considerations regarding passport space for visa stamps and potential alternatives like extending a work permit are discussed.

One time i had only two full pages left, and some room here and there for a stamp.. When i got stamped out of thailand to go to laos and get the last setv in that passport, the IO was friendly enough to put the exit stamp in a middle page where there was room.. I was nervous he would use one of the two free pages, rendering it impossible to get my visa.

Now you are mentioning your passport is full to the brim.. remember the trip to Lao to get a SETV will take up a little more than two whole pages.. one for each visa (Lao and Thai) and some stamps besides for exit and entry

As co-owner of a cafe, can you not get an extension of stay and work permit ?

There is no offiial limit on how many visa's a person can have. Thai Consulate in the area put a warning stamp next to the visa if they think that you have to many Tourist Visa in your passport and next application could be denied.

You'll be fine applying for another single entry tourist visa with only one in your passport.
