Guys, if someone entered with a stv can they move to a Ed visa or need to leave and renter ?

Answer summary

Individuals who entered Thailand with a Special Tourist Visa (STV) are not permitted to change their visa to an Education Visa (ED) without leaving the country first. The STV explicitly states that it cannot be converted to any other visa type, and this restriction is reaffirmed by users in the discussion.
