Can I change my Non-B visa to a 60-day extension without a termination letter from my employer?

Current visa: non-b

Expiration: 30th, April 2021

Question: is there any possibility changing non-b visa to 60days extention without "finished contract letter" from my employer?

Note: my current employer wants me stay thats the reason they dont hand-in the letter I needed for immigration.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of converting their Non-B visa to a 60-day extension without a finished contract letter from their employer. Comments suggest that to apply for the extension, one might need to cancel their work permit and obtain a termination letter. One user even proposes a drastic workaround involving breaking the contract to force the employer's hand in providing the letter.

This might seem a weird work around but if you be a ' bad ' employee and just don't show up to work for a few weeks isn't there a clause in your contract that they can terminate you. I mean if your goal is to terminate the contract surely you could do something that breaks the contract and basically forces them in a situation of firing you at which point after you're fired they're obligated to provide you with a termination letter ? Not sure if it's viable but just a thought.

It would work for quitting the job. Unfortunately quitting a job like that way doesn't mean you can get the necessary official papers immediately. It might take rather a lot longer time to get things sorted.

IF you are on an extension of stay (look at your stamp in your passport) you NEED to cancel your work permit and have that receipt and the letter of termination from your employer to cancel your current extension before you can apply for a 60 day covid extension.

All you could do is go to your immigration office and ask them what to do

unfortunately, they dont want to cancel my extention of stay as well as my workpermit. They want me to stay for another year. Though my flight back home would be on 27th of May.

Russell then you need to slog on over to your immigration office and talk to them.

OR

file a grievance with the labor dispute board.

You aren't gonna get OFF that extension without termination paperwork from your employer
