Hi, i've seen below on another group. Any idea if now 100%? Has it been published in the royal gazette? Thanks just waiting before I book some flights

Answer summary

The community is discussing the confirmation of a recent visa policy in Thailand. While it has been reported as approved by some sources, there is uncertainty as to whether this information has been officially published in the royal gazette. Multiple comments indicate that while the policy seems backed by media reports and some community confirmation, official announcements are still awaited, leading to ongoing discussions about visa extensions and planning travel.

I wonder if extensions will still be 30 days or 45?

it will apply to only entries, extensions unchanged.

Unless there is a last minute change before Oct. 1st.

thanks. That's a shame as I need 90 days so will have to get a 60 day tourist visa and extend.

Poor communication from the authorities, as usual. The third header is called “Without a visa”, but the above sections are for visa exemptions, aka “without a visa”.

I haven't seen the official announcement yet. PR Thai Government just referenced the post on the TAT website from 1 week ago.

It's been approved, so the only thing left is for them to publish it. They haven't approved anything and made a big fuss about it in the media and not published something for quite a while. I think you can count on this.
