Hello, I'm from Belgium and married to a Thai women in Thailand. She lives with me on a 1 year spousse visa valid untill 24 Nov 2024 in Belgium and she already have an belgium ID F card valid for 5 years staying in Belgium

I have 2 questions:

1) Can she go to Thailand and back to Belgium without problems just using her Thai passport after the valid Visum date of 24 Nov 2024 and her Belgium F-card ID valid for 5 years?

2) If I want to stay in Thailand do I need a visum before I go. Or can I apply one wen I'm there already. Because I can go without Visum for 30 days? What visum can i apply for because I want to start family and business in Thailand with my Thai wife.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster (OP) has two main questions regarding their Thai wife's travel and their visa situation in Thailand. 1) The first question is if the OP's wife can travel between Belgium and Thailand using her Thai passport and Belgium's F-card ID after her spouse visa expires on November 24, 2024. Responses indicate she can travel without issues as long as both her documents are valid. 2) The second question asks if the OP needs to secure a visa before traveling to Thailand, given that they can enter visa-free for 30 days, and what visa options are available for staying long-term. Suggestions from the community highlight that the OP can apply for a NON-O visa before leaving Belgium or upon arrival in Thailand.

No idea on the Belgian visa but married to a Thai you can get a 90 day Non-O before you travel or after arrival in Thailand if you have 400k in a Thai bank account in your name only. With a Belgian passport you get 30 days Visa Exempt entry.
