My visa expired on 30th July. I saw a notification requesting people to come to the immigration only 3 days in advance. And I also saw a post in which people saying that if u go today, you will get everything finished in 1 visit.
Should I go today or wait for 3 days in advance?
Any opinion on this?
Thank you and very much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about whether to visit the immigration office to renew their visa after it expired on July 30, especially after seeing conflicting advice online about the timing of the visit. They have received a reminder to come in only 3 days before their appointment. One commenter has inquired about which immigration office the user is referring to.

I don’t understand. Because I am holding a ED visa and now I wanted to extend 60 days covid extension as I couldn’t get flight for return to home country.
so to be clear, you are still on the first 90days stamp from your visa (entry Thailand or issued in Thailand), never applied for extension based on studying, right?
To get an extension of stay at Changwattana, you will need to go 3 days or less before your existing entry/ extension of stay (NOT your visa!) expires.
