Hi all
Moving to Khon Kaen province in October with Thai wife - been in UK 15 years with UK marriage certificate.
I was planning on a multi non O based on marriage but understand that is now not available from UK.
If I get the single entry - what is it's validity? - i.e can I get it a month before planned arrival in Thailand and then get a single 90 day period on arrival.
In the last 30 days, I then need to apply for extension of stay based on marriage - I can meet the financial monthly deposits as I have an active BBK Bank account but it is based in Pattaya from previous visits.
I have been advised that I need to haven account in the province I apply for the extension as the KK BBK Bank branch will not update the book / provide statement / letter - anybody on the ground in KK can confirm or not pls?
Appreciate all advice :-)
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is moving to Khon Kaen with their Thai wife and is seeking advice on visa options since the multi NON-O visa is currently unavailable from the UK. They are considering the single entry visa, questioning its validity and whether they can obtain it a month prior to their arrival for a 90-day stay. The user also inquires about the necessity of having a bank account in the province for extending their stay based on marriage, as they currently have an account in Pattaya.
