Hello. I understand from previous comments that inbound international flights are still banned to enter Thailand. I have seen that they are running a case-by-case allowance for those with work permits (and various different requirements). Is this case-by-case system applicable to apply before the 30th June ban, or does this apply post 30th June?

Side note - if anyone has any information at all on the certain workers that will be allowed in, could you let me know if you know of any teachers that have managed to do this.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the current ban on international flights to Thailand and seeks clarification on whether the case-by-case entry allowance for work permit holders applies before or after the June 30th deadline. Comments indicate that, as of June 2, 2020, Thailand's borders are closed to foreigners until June 30, and no teachers or work permit holders have entered the country since. The original poster is looking for information about teachers who may have been allowed entry.

Thailand borders are closed for entry by foreigners until 30 June 2020.

No teachers or work permit holders did enter the country after 30 June 2020.

So...where are you now?

In April you said you were in Thailand and on amnesty...what has changed?

/20). Do you suggest I wait for government to make more announcements on 30th before I contact the embassy? And in order to get this extension, will I need to go to the immigration office, or can I avoid crowds by completing this a different way? Thanks in advance"

Contact the Thai Embassy in your home country for their requirements to submit a request to the Thai Foreign Ministry for special permission to enter Thailand.

due to a serious family emergency crisis, I unfortunately had to leave Thailand. I want to return to work as soon as possible and I’m willing to pay for the insurance and quarantine required, I’m just working out when this may be possible
