Hello! Sorry if this has been asked before. Anyone have any news/updates on if someone with a Non-O immigrant volunteer visa (with work permit and re-entry permit) would be allowed back into Thailand given the easing/reopening of the country in the coming months? Thanks!

Have you asked your Thai Embassy ?

There are reports of persons entering Thailand with the volunteer visa you described.

Must obtain the CoE from Thai Embassy and full entry requirements met...including quarantine, health insurance including covering COVID and RT-PCR test results within 72 hours of flight.

last year those outside Thailand were not allowed to enter. Now they are obtaining the CoE to enter.

But hopefully your volunteer visa is from a legitimate NGO.

Choose wisely if you decide to leave and seek reentry.

Make sure to ask YOUR Thai embassy/consulate, and NOT your local immigration office.

Remember: Never trust the immigration office about getting visas, and never trust the embassy about extension of stays
