This is correct? The 30 day visa exempt cannot be extended anymore?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The claim that the 30-day visa exempt cannot be extended is incorrect. Visa exempt entries can indeed be extended once for an additional 30 days while in Thailand. It is advised to be cautious of conflicting information from embassies and immigration, as they may not communicate effectively regarding visa rules.

Never listen to what the embassies say about visa issues inside the country and never listen to what immigration says about entering the country. They are two completely different departments in the government, they have no idea the rules of the other, and they don't communicate with each other.

Yeah, I know that. But to get in, we're supposed to go by official info on embassy websites. Then, there's misinformation like this on there😄

the information you're talking about is an embassy talking about immigration things. Extensions are done inside the country at an immigration office. So it's the embassy talking about things that they have nothing to do with.

No, that is not correct. Visa exempt entries can always be extended 1 time for an additional 30 days in country.

Where is that picture from?

what you are saying is WRONG. Not all 30-day visa exemption counties can extend 30 days, some only 7 days

the 7 days you're talking about, that's not an extension. You get 7 days time to piss-off, in case your application has been rejected. An extension of stay for TR and Visa exempt (if you're eligible to enter with it) is always 30 days.

no it’s wrong info. Some nationalities who enter on TR30 visa exemption, are NOT ELIGIBLE for 30 day extension. Please do not misinform people here

Those are the 19 VISA ON ARRIVAL countries, they are not the 60+ VISA EXEMPT countries. Words matter.

and as also mentioned already above: The countries your are showing in the pic aren't eligible for visa exempt at all. That's why they don't get an extension.

from Immigration website and with 20 typos within one sentence? Funny...

As mentioned above, these 7 days aren't an extension. They are some piss-off days to leaves the country, including a big piss-off stamp to your passport.

Why do they have wrong information on their website? Because it's Thailand and they're incompetent fks.
