So i got a tourist multi entry visa which expires april 1th 2020 and the first extension at april 16th 2020.

I am german and got letter from embassy already.

I went to immigration pattaya jomtien today and they asked few more documents as some people posted but my question is is it to early to get the second +30 or fine?

Some here reported the immigration refused to give extension 2 weeks or more before it ends.

I do not want go to immigration 3 times.

They told me to come back tomorrow though?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the timing for applying for a second 30-day extension on their tourist visa, which has an impending expiry date. They received advice suggesting it's best to wait until a few days before the current extension expires (April 16, 2020) due to potential immigration policies that may refuse extensions if applied too early.

Is the embassy letter valid for long time?

Edit: i only made 1 visa run with this visa.

Your flight is cancelled or re-scheduled, your new flight is after your Admitted or permitted to stay date.

The letter request Immigration to grant you a stay for the days between your Admitted or permitted up to date until the day the flight leaves Thailand. That will not be a long period

they don’t care about the Visa runs. You should have extended the METV 2weeks ago, when border runs where still possible. That would have given you (regardless of the extension) 60 extra days plus again 30 days exemption mid of may. But in regard to your question. Go 2days before the actual exempt expired and you will be ok.

I was assisting immigration Phuket today for all day, you can’t do any visa rum currently so you have only the option to apply for “Covid 19 extension” and here we advice everyone to do this only 1-2 upfront of your expiry date, so in your case April 16th. I would go 11-12th as they might close for Songkran...

You mean if you can use it for a few years?

If you still have permission up to 16th April 2020, best is to wait and go a few days before the 16th. You apply for an Emergency Extension of Stay based on that you can not fly back home.

Knowing weeks in front that you do not like to go home is something different.
