I'm currently in Thailand on a 60 day single entry tourist visa (obtained in the UK/UK national), and have already extended it by 30 days at Chiang Mai Immigration. My 30 day extension expires on 24th November, and I would like to try for a 'covid extension'. I'm aware that these types of extension are discretionary, and that they are due to end on 26th November. Just wondering when the best time to apply would be. I'd like to leave it as late as possible, but if Chiang Mai Immigration is still doing the 15 day 'under consideration' procedure, then is it perhaps best to apply in the next day or two, so that - *if* I am able to get the extension - I would get the 45 day part of it approved before the 26th November cut-off date.
