Did anyone do a visa run recently and crossed the border to Cambodia and come back?
Is it possible like it used to before?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users discuss the current status of visa runs to Cambodia from Thailand, detailing which border crossings are available and the associated requirements. It is noted that certain borders like Aranyaprathet/Poipet may require an overnight stay, while others do not. There are warnings about potential bribery and entry denials at Poipet, and users share personal experiences and advice for smoother transit.

I've spent almost a week here in cambodia and will be going through poi pet in the next day or so - will let you know how it goes
you shouldn't have an issue coming in THRU poipet after being in cambodia a while. It's the "bouncers" <- the people who try to bounce out and right back that have the issues
thank you so much again Tod for the reassurance. I'm hoping because I hold a Malaysian passport it'll be a bit smoother ๐

Cambodia is one of the least best places to get a visa/do a border run. Poipet checkpoint is notorious for having immigration officers asking for bribes, and also having a higher chance of being denied entry.

The two borders you want to use with Cambodia are Ban Laem or Ban Pakard.
As Lloyd said, the Aranyaprathet/Poipet border will make you stay in cambodia over night.
Also ALL the borders stopped letting people out and in who have 7 day "application for extension not approve" stamps OR an overstay of more than 70 days <- if you have either of those you need to FLY out and back
it is possible, just be aware if you use Poipet you will be required to spend the night in Cambodia. Not required at the other 2 major crossing points.
