TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post seeks advice on traveling from Pattaya to Cambodia for a visa run, specifically asking for agency suggestions. Comments suggest multiple options including taking minibuses to border towns like Chong Chom and Trat, using services like Mots, and the possibility of flying to Ubon to cross into Laos as an alternative. Some commenters discuss the chaotic nature of the Poi Pet border, cautioning others about its reliability for visa runs post-COVID.

you don't do Poi Pet for a visa run, it was the NO-GO border pre-covid for visa runs.

Either the border w Laos or the 2 small borders in Chantaburi or the one in Trat.

there was a rule that you need to stay overnight in Cambodia. Do you know if that is still being enforced?
Karim ***************
@Alex ******
no it’s not.
Steve *******
@Alex ******
Nope, and it was never a rule.

@Steve ******
when did you do your visa run?

I spoke w the visa agent that works on the border on May 8. She said I needed to stay over night.

I read 1 report from someone who did at another Camdo - Thai border and they said the same.

Staying overnight was a very old rule that was not enforced for the past few years.
Steve *******
@Alex ******
You dont need to stay overnight despite what you've been told. You can leave Cambodia anytime after entering.
