TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can take a bus from Bangkok to Ranong and do a border bounce by yourself, as the border is open again. It's recommended to use the Sai Tai Mai bus station for the journey, which might take around 9 hours if direct. Various commenters support this plan, noting it's easy to navigate once in Ranong, though assistance is available for those unfamiliar with the process.

You could also get train to Chumpon then a bus to Ranong.

At bus station in Ranong there is a restaurant there lady can assist with travel to burma taking to immigration etc not that much more costs than doing yourself.

Go stay in Town as well visit my mate O and his cocktail bar

Why would he need help stamping out & getting on the ferry boat? It's easy & obvious how to do it.

@Jody ******
basically just the taxi to take you to the right places. Been in Ranong a lot and seen farangs in some of the oddest places looking for immigration

Even the songtaew is easy enough.

But I guess there are always a lot of people not used to visa runs!
