What Are the Current Rules for Border Bouncing Between Ranong and Myanmar for Non-B and Non-O Visa Holders?

Good afternoon!

Has anyone done a border bounce between Ranong and Myanmar in the new year?

We have non-b (and wp) and non-o visas, both multiple entry.

I hear plenty of people saying you need to spend a night out of Thailand before being let in again (and/or paying a fee)

Have tried to find information online but nothing conclusive.

The only thing I found was that there are no more visa border bounce trips from phuket because of changed visa rules.

Please help me out, knowable ones.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry focuses on border bouncing from Ranong to Myanmar, particularly regarding the rules for those holding non-B and non-O visas. There is uncertainty about whether a night spent outside Thailand is necessary for re-entry. Comments suggest that while some borders require a 24-hour stay outside (notably with Malaysia), this may not apply to Ranong, and no new reports confirm changes that affect border bouncing from Ranong.

, there was no need for my coarse answer to her.

It is TRUE, some borders with Malaysia ARE requiring you stay out of thailand 24 hours (meaning you stay IN Malaysia a night until you stamp back into thailand)

Evidently that has caused some of the border bounce agencies (especially the ones that lug islanders down there to malaysia to cancel their service) It's NOT that you can't bounce it's that they can't find a way around the rule.

There is no chance that if you bounce at Ranong to burma and back that you will be required to stay out of thailand for a night. You are confusing SOME Malaysian/Cambodian border policies with ALL borders.

There are no reports of changes in border bounces for a new 90 day stay by using the Multiple Entry Visa, but what is the country of origin of the passport as not all countries can do this bounce?
