TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether someone can reapply for a Thai visa in Hanoi right after being rejected in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). Responses suggest that reapplying is possible, but caution against using the same documents, as it may lead to another rejection. Some participants share their own experiences, mentioning successful reapplications in Manila after rejections in Vietnam. Concerns are raised about the necessity and effectiveness of changing locations without addressing the reasons for rejection.
You dont need to tell people what you are asking yourself. Just be helpful if you know the answer to the question, and if you don't know, then don't say anything
Anonymous participant Why worry about something that may never happen? It causes unnecessary anxiety for yourself and others reading this thread. I'm sure you don't wish to cause either?
why would it cause anxiety to others ? If anything I think it could help out people to know that even in the worst case it gets rejected there's still hope to try again.
Anonymous participant You believe you're helping others by preparing them for the possibility of rejection? I'm sure they would be grateful and comforted to know they would only lose their application fee plus travel, accommodation and incidental expenses of applying in Vietnam. Then, of course, there would be another application fee to pay plus more hotel bills etc. You are indeed a most thoughtful individual.
I believe that I asked this question for my own sake and you can't always expect to be 100% mindful of everyone's anxieties and worries. This was my own worry and I wanted to ask it for the sake of my own peace of mind. If it bothers you scroll away. There's no reason to make a fuzz of every post you see on Facebook
Anonymous participant Highlighting anonymous posts that constantly refer to current contentious issues is helpful to others. People shouldn't always believe everything they read on the internet.
you're right. Then this group has no point and no one should ever ask anything here cuz there's no reason to believe everything people tell you on the internet.
Anonymous participant Many people provide reliable and helpful information. Posters using anonymous participant, nicknames and bizarre profiles not so much.
No not at all, the only thing I did different from my Hanoi application was use Issa Compass agency. I wasn’t expecting anything out of it since it was a full refund if rejected. Everyone was saying go to Jakarta but I say **** it and just took a Philippines vacation and it worked out…
