I entered Vietnam through Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh and applied for a DTV there, but unfortunately, my application was rejected without any given reason.

I would like to ask if it is possible for me to apply for a TR visa in Hanoi, and whether I am allowed to travel to Thailand from Vietnam in my current situation.Thanks.

Answer summary

The user had their DTV visa application rejected in Ho Chi Minh City and is asking if they can apply for a TR visa in Hanoi and if they can travel to Thailand from Vietnam. Responses indicate that applying for a Tourist Visa is possible and that they are allowed to travel to Thailand despite the rejection, as it was due to improper documentation, not a denial.
