Which is close to impossible, as they don't state the exact reason, and contacting them likely yields zero results as well.

Try with "Issa Compass" agency, I got rejected too in Ho Chi Minh, then I reapplied with them at the same embassy and got approved

I don't know why anybody applies for a soft power... You're going to go to one class... never show up again.. then they'll cancel your visa after 6 months

They will not cancel your visa, but when you use a visa you've got for attending a soft power activity and do not attend that, technically indeed you use the visa illegal.

For now chances you get caught with this are low.

Unless your visa says Remote Worker in the remarks then it's no different to mine ๐Ÿ˜†

Yes the information is in the MFA database but not Immigrations. At CM airport they're collecting data on DTVs with paper forms. Do you think they'd be doing this if they already had the information?

Where did you get the info that immigration does not have the visa information in their database?

Did you not read the reports of a lot of people that were saying they did not need to show their visa at all, because it was already in their system.

At CNX they only want to check if DTV holders entering comply with requirements.

We've had this discussion before and you couldn't give any proof for your claims then Luit. Let's just both enjoy our 5 year multiple entry visas, cheers ๐Ÿบ

At least I can tell you that immigration offices have access to your visa data.

How do you think they would give an extension on something they don't have access to.

You claim immigration does not have access to visa data, so maybe you should explain how it is possible a lot of people here say they did not even need to show their visa and just got an 180 day stamp.

But when I ask you for an explanation on this, you just chicken out...

You are the one claiming things here, I did not start claiming anything here, only asking you for proof of your claim that all visa are equal unless there is a remark.

It's pretty simple Luit, they have the information which is on the visa. So if it doesn't say what you applied under they don't know. So stop worrying about being questioned and enjoy your visa.

I am not worried about questioning, I fully comply with all requirements.

Where did you get proof they do not have the type of DTV in their information, only when it is mentioned in remarks.

That just is a silly claim of you without any proof at all and it would make the extension process for DTV impossible for immigration when your claim was true.

Not really, they could just ask to see the original documents you applied with. But let's not waste time discussing this. Let's both have a drink and celebrate our 5 year multiple entry visas, cheers. ๐Ÿบ

How would they know what original documents are if they have no information in their system. Your logic just completely fails here, maybe because you already had some drinks when you started this stupid claim for which I still did not see any proof.

OK, that means that until then you should stop spreading the info that immigration does not have information about which type of visa you have.

Of course it will not be written anywhere official about what info immigration has in their systems.

you post what you like, no problem, but when you post this same unsubstantiated information over and over, don't be surprised I will ask you again to prove it is true, because all the facts hint in the direction you are just wrong and want to wait 4 years to prove you are right.

Why should I spend time in proving you are wrong?

So when you don't want this discussions, just don't post this kind of stuff or just come with proof.

Yeah. I didn't abuse the system. I came in with the idea of being rejected but I also had the funds to stay here. There was nothing else to apply for at the time. And I flew out willingly. Also had a gf here that I fully supported and rented a full condo.

I didn't abuse anything .. They had the option of kicking me out. You know how expensive it is to fly out every 2 months for a vacation younl didn't plan for? Not cheap.

Don't expect them to accomodate your BS claim when nobody applying has any intent of upholding their end.
