TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for a DTV (Document Tracking Visa) from the Washington D.C. consulate varies widely based on individual experiences. Some users report receiving their DTV in as little as 3 days, while others have experienced delays, taking up to 15 days or even 3 weeks due to request for additional documentation. Generally, the processing can take anywhere from 5 to 15 business days.

The websites say up to 15 days. Generally it's 5-15 business days. Also there are 4 consulates in the US and you haven't said which one you applied at.
